4.4 · 141 reviewsWorking with Lisa and her team has been an absolute pleasure. Not only is the community stunning but the staff is par none. The community is clean, it has incredible amenities, and everyone I met from the concierge, to Omar at valet service, to the dining room crew all knew mine and my father in laws names after just a day or two of us getting him settled in. They welcomed him in with open arms and I am without a doubt certain he is in such good hands. I feel very blessed to have him there.
You have an excellent senior center. Even better, your sales representative, Elana Trencher, was superb. Unfortunately the size of the apartments are too small for our needs. But again, Elana was wonderful to work with.
My sister has just moved into the assisted living section of Holbrook Decatur and could not be happier! All the staff have been so friendly and welcoming and responsive to every need. The food is outstanding and the resources there are amazing. I'm ecstatic that her move and settling in there has gone so well. Holbrook Decatur is a delightful place! A big thank you to everyone there who has made her transition into her new home a really good one.

The wellness director Julia is very Rude and disrespectful towards People she don’t even know and wonder why agency is all threw the building….They work you like a slave here at this location
I have been in Holbrook of Decatur Assisted Living since December 2022. I am very happy with my life here. I get three meals a day, basic weekly housekeeping and assistance with dressing and showering. The activities are varied and numerous, outings mostly to lunch at local restaurants but also to the holiday lights, a boat ride, a train ride and there is live music several times a month in the lobby. The outdoor courtyard is nice for sitting and for having seasonal events. There is a large salt water pool and and a hydro-pool, a therapy pool with a moving bottom for walking treadmill style. As with many similar facilities, staffing is a continuing problem and they are doing their utmost to change this. There is a great PT/OT/Voice Therapy group--TransPerfect and an in-house PCP clinic--Ascend. Holbrook also has a special program for those with some dementia who are in assisted living but not ready for Memory Care.
My father has been in memory care at Holbrook Decatur - Inspired Living - for nearly a year and my sister and I feel so relieved that he is finally getting the care he needs. The staff and LaToya Blake the director take excellent care of him and even more than that they truly care about him and us. Thanks to them, Holbrook has been a daily blessing.
The staff in Inspired Living (memory care) are the best! My 102 year old mother has been living there for almost 3 years. Every day I visit her she seems happy. She's always clean and dressed nicely with matching jewelry. There's a lot of activities every day to keep the residents occupied if they want to participate. The staff all seem to genuinely care about the residents.
Holbrook has a high level of service to its residents such as level of care tailored to each residents needs both physical and medical. There resonse to each residens needs is fast and efficient. I would rate them as a five star. Marvin Fitch
