Haralson Nursing & Rehabilitation Center

My wife entered Haralson County Nursing Rehab on April 15,2026. She was Discharged on July 1, 2026. While this is a very old facility is a very clean facility. A few months before my wife entered this facility the was a change inthe management staff and I have to say it was a very positive moe. The Nursing Home Administrator, and the Director of Nursing are doing a great job in ensuring the residents care is be maintained at a very high level and accountability of employees is is is in place to ensure only competent caring Nurses and CNA's are helping the residents. The ladies who schedule and conduct the activities for the residents wer a joy to interact with during our 70 plus days inthe facility. The staff who ran the PT and OT were outstanding. I recommend this Rehab Facility to people who have the need in West GA. I want to give a shout out to Mrs. Laurie, Jessica, Kim, Faith, both Emily 's

Sadly, my mom got dc from hospital to go to this subpar facility for rehab. Day 1. No orientation to room, no call light within reach. She had to go to br, no help, wet herself. Thyroid medicine they tried to give morning and night, thank goodness she had her wits about her and knew better. Day 2, no breakfast with the rest, was told none left, in process of fixing lunch gave cheerios. Day 4 we are on and she was to have PT. No one has attempted, but she was told they would come and get her. Meals are not made to order, cold, dry grits, scant of eggs, and again was offered her thyroid medicine last night in lieu of this morning. Antibiotic via iv in hospital, to continue oral antibiotic at rehab, Day 4, no antibiotic. She has not left her room for 4 d days to participate in PT, activities, etc. Needless to say, we are done.
