What a wonderful nursing home. The building is always so clean when we visit. My grandmother was here for rehab and I visited everyday. We were so thankful the staff showed so much compassion and kindness. The first meeting with admissions was absolutely wonderful. She went out of her way to speak to us after hours. We definitely made the best choice by choosing this facility. Her rehab was such a success that we were able to bring her home and back to doing her normal routine.
Food is really bad. Have to wait an hour or more for help after you press the call button. The aides and nurses are very nice and kind. They are overworked.
Very nice long term care facility. Staff is the best! Facility is neat, clean, attractive.
I am currently working on getting my CNA certification and went to this establishment to run some clinicals. Marissa and Samantha were great teachers and amazing workers. I am more than grateful for their leadership and dedication, I can’t wait to use this helpful information for future situations.
To all the nurses, aides, CNAs of Gordon Health and Rehabilitation that cared for my mother Doris these past 3 years. Though there were a couple bumps in the road, all told, you have done a great job! I've met a lot of you over the years, some come and go, a lot of you are still here. I know enough about your job to say that you are very special people! You have a very tough job in a lot of ways! Your dedication and commitment to your profession is very admirable! I want to thank you all for the care you have provided over the years. Some of you went above and beyond what is expected. You got to know my mother and I, and we got to know you. You made the sad reality of long term care a better experience for my mother than it would have been without you! Y'all made a difference! I appreciate you, and mom did as well!! Many thanks and much appreciation, Ed White aka Bo
This is one of the worst places I have ever seen..They don't give a crap for the patients. The Aminnstration is ridiculous. The C.N.A.s are not trained. Yes it clean but the care is very poor. Fred the director of the facility does not have a clue of whats going on. We move our mother back home today... Nurses are rude. I work for a hospital and we would never let this be a standard. Bad choice.
My husband was placed in the rehab part he would turn on his light he would still be waiting 2 to 3 hours with his light still on and he was a chocking hazard . When I asked to speak to the doctor on call because he wasn’t acting like himself I was told The doctor has already spoke with him what do you want her to do then when she finally did call me she stated I will put in his chart you want him sent to the hospital when I got there I made them call an ambulance and he stayed in the hospital one week due to infection . I wouldn’t Send my dog up there .
Very clean facility with an amazing staff
