I was inquiring of a place for my 82 yr old mother. I filled out the online form on a Sunday. Surprising to me, a staff member contacted me later on in the evening. This process was starting off very, very well and that made me very excited that I found a place for my mother. I believe the staff members name was her Sherry. She was so informative and so inviting so I made an appointment for a tour. Driving in it looks very beautiful with all of the trees however as you drive in you notice that the landscaping is completely, utterly unkemp. I was shocked when I had heard that the prices were…
I was inquiring of a place for my 82 yr old mother. I was shocked when I had heard that the prices were from $3,000 to $5,000. I was curious as to what exactly was included in that price, obviously not the landscaping. I was going to turn around and not even show up for the tour but Sherry was so nice and gracious I knew that I should not do that so I decided to stick with the tour the tour was extremely informative I really received very good information regarding respite and how all of that applies I got a very good tour of the rooms and also I was able to get in touch with the ones who actually live there one being one who actually lived there for more than 10 years it was a very very good tour and it seems as if all of the staff seem to genuinely respect and get along with each other which was really important. I asked Sherry about the landscaping and she said that is something that the facility is working as I'm leaving walking to my car there was an elderly woman on a walker she was walking in the parking lot and it appeared as if she almost was about to fall over from all of the leaves being in the parking this was my only from following up regarding placing my mother here my mother would be coming from a 1-acre lot and taking care of a house and the landscaping is very important to her and I know that she would be very anxious being on a property like Golden Crest. This facility needs to do better. This is unacceptable and not even appropriate for the elderly ones who are walking around on your grounds the leaves have not even been blown or the grass cut this is just a matter of getting Uncle Leon to just come over with his mower and just blowing the leaves and cutting the this would be the only reason why I think you should not consider placing your loved one here. This is a beautiful facility with lots of potential and you even have trails that will send you over to the country club. I was very disappointed!
Knowledgeable! You can't find a more dedicated staff! The residents are treated like family, everyone is so kind and friendly!
Thank you Sherry for your help as we were looking for the right place. Your follow up and professionalism were great.
From management to medical to support staff - everyone is caring and attentive to the residents and their needs. Highly recommend.
I visited Golden Crest at Eagle's Landing and the director there, who kind of gave us information and tours, was fantastic. The rooms are just a lot smaller and my sister did not like the way that the outside was like. They have a lot of trees and there were leaves that had fallen. Some of the rooms have private decks and the decks needed power wash. So, it just wasn't as tidy as we would have liked, but the staff was great. They knew all the residents and they were very friendly. They had a lot of great field trips that they took the residents on, which was very different from what we had gotten from some of the other facilities. They do cool trips, like to the aquarium and the zoo. I thought some of the extras were good. It's a little bit of a smaller facility so I think that's why it was more intimate.
Although my dad did not meet the requirements for admission, Sherri was very informative and helpful. She gave me tons of information regarding alternative placements
Great experience over the last year with this facility. Communication with Sherry has been a very positive experience.
Outstanding staff starting with Sherry, Annemarie, Sophia and Ms. Martha and her staff. Those ladies made my aunt feel so welcome and safe without a worry in the world. They are excited about moving in. Praying that all is going to be alright. Very Professional and knowledgeable about the facility. Not one question we asked was not answered in a professional manner. May God continue to bless their staff.
