This place has come along way,it smells really nice,I see the Department Heads walking around every day to make sure everything is running good, all Departments are good.I see on a daily the DON, Administrator are excellent and spoils the Residents to ensure they are happy, well taking care of. I have seen Jas, Christine which are CNA's along with several others go above and beyond, also the Employees going into their own pockets to pay for residents hair to be taken care of,the Salon Stylist is absolutely the Best as well, loved by many residents 😊

I was not pleased with the staff on visiting my mom in this facility. When I arrived the smell there was horrible and there were patients walking all over and there were 3 nurses at the front desk. The first nurse was on her phone. The second nurse was falling asleep. The last nurse was already sleep. My mom was in her bed throwing up in an already full throw up bag with vomit all over her bed as nurses were standing around trying to check her vitals on machines that were broken with no cuffs that fit around her arm to get proper readings very upsetting I could continue but it was just so…

My dad admitted to Fairburn Heights in February to receive rehab after his stroke. When he admitted he was unable to sit up in a wheelchair and could barely move his left side. Today I can proudly say he is going home and is able to sit up on his own and even walk short distances. There are many horror stories about "nursing homes" and it's easy to provide negative feedback. But the people here at Fairburn Heights care about their residents. To the Administrator, THANK YOU for your kindness and for having such an amazing team! There are many nurses that played a part in my dad's care and to name a few: Scott, Brittany, Gwen, Kandese, Marvo, KO, Leigh, Kay, Kayla, Tasia; THANK YOU ALL!!!!! Ms. Christine.......Where do I begin??? You are an amazing CNA with a heart of gold!!!!!!! We greatly appreciate you for going above and beyond for my dad!!!! I’m not sure who’s posting these reviews but the positive ones are a lie. My 87 year old love one was placed here three months ago & it’s been a complete mess. He has roaches in his bed & the staff called the police on me because I displayed my frustration. By them Calling the police, it actually worked in my favor & they will see why in the next few weeks. YES!!! Im upset because my loved one is elderly, non verbal & he’s autistic. Therefore I must be an advocate for him. One day he fell around 1pm & no one called me until 8pm that night. The DON that called me stated that she thought someone called me…I instructed them to send him to the hospital since he has a history of stroke. When he returned, his clothes & shoes were missing. To make matters worse His nightstand had mold & mildew in it & his wheelchair is filthy. I have every thing on video. The roaches were literally falling out of his bed. The food is terrible, the care is horrendous and it shows in how the residents are declining. PLEASE Check on your family frequently because if you don’t the staff will mistreat them. I’ve seen it with my own eyes. The pictures below are roaches coming from his bed & where the roaches hatch eggs/ babies. You’ve been warned… We’re moving him out as soon has we find a private care home. I wouldn’t wish this treatment on my worst enemy. He entered this facility walking, talking etc…3 months later he can’t stand or talk…It’s truly sad…I’m BEGGING you to reconsider a better option for your family member. All of his clothes were missing as well. This facility truly needs to be shut down & investigated for elderly abuse. I will receive justice for my loved one.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about the Activity Director Delgarta at this nursing home. Their dedication, creativity, and genuine compassion truly make a difference in the lives of every resident. Each day is thoughtfully planned with engaging activities that bring joy, purpose, and a sense of community to my mom. What stands out the most is her ability to give me my a home from home. Thank

Great facility

I have been a resident of this facility for five years. It has been through some terrible issues, which may account for some of the bad reviews and low stars. I do feel that this new ownership and administration is working diligently to turn this facility around. The food has improved greatly. We have a dining hall that also serves for meetings and activities with a large (72-inch) screen TV. The activities are varied enough for nearly all individuals with different capabilities. The understaffing is also being worked on with more staff being on-boarded. They are competent and pleasant. The medications are now being handled in a timely fashion. We have a lovely patio that is covered where we can spend time outside. The facility is clean and has been recently painted. The floors, while old, are clean, but will hopefully be replaced in the not too distant future. In addition, we have a wonderful therapy department, which includes physical, occupational, and speech, so this makes an excellent choice for your rehab options. We also have an active resident council, which all residents are welcome to attend. The staff also maintain an open-door policy for all the residents and their family members. All in all, I am quite content and happy here.

Kalya is a very sweet and understanding person, and my social worker mrs.tay help with a lot of things and I thank God for her and physical therapy is the best it has brought me from a long ways and Mrs.Pam is a excellent leader that is what I loved about her and the CNA and the nursing staff is excellent and mrs.niki is very much nice and she has brought me from a long ways and D,O,N and the assistant D,O,N are good leaders and Mrs.Sara is a very sweet person and helps me with a lot
