My dad moved to Country Gardens Senior Living, which looked like an old Victorian house. There were only 40 rooms, and it was small. The staff was very personable. They kept me in the loop and were very good with the patients. They have daily activities, and all the people participate in them.
My aunt,Ms Evelyn Thomas was a resident for 10+ years, I planned her birthday party every year with staff's assistance ,we all had a ball, other residents included. Ms Thomas family appreciates everything the fabulous staff did to support her.
Most of the reviews are old. I was a resident there for 10 months. It was overall an awful experience. This facility is 98% memory care. If you don’t have dementia you won’t be happy there. Most of the care staff are unmotivated and uncaring and often don’t respond to pendant calls. The food is terrible. I think for folks with dementia it’s probably ok. The director should have told us this is essentially a memory care/nursing home environment,
I live here, and I love it here
Country Gardens Senior Living met all of our needs 100 percent. I liked everyone there, and Mom did too.
The staff is always really nice and my father-in-law really likes them however trying to get in there for a visit is ridiculous clearly it is a management issue because the same complaints from years ago are still issues to this day no one answers the phones to let you in
My mother moved into Country Gardens Senior Living. It is close to my house. The staff members are wonderful, very helpful, and patient with my mom. The facility is lovely, wonderful, fantastic, and clean. It is pretty good. They have a morning devotion every morning. They have an exercise class.
I visited Country Gardens Senior Living. It's small, and it seemed like they give personalized care. The person I met was well informed and very willing to work with us. The bedroom was good, and everything was clean. I would say it's average sized. They had average amenities for seniors who need assisted living. I presume they have an activities coordinator. When it was safe, and when it opens up to be safe, they take the seniors on various trips and try to keep them engaged and active. When we visited on behalf of our father, we thought they they would deliver that service. The environment was calm. It seemed like people had autonomy and they could be engaged at whatever level they wanted to be. Some people were in the activity rooms, and some were not.
