Country gardens in Duluth provide good experiences, the apartment is clean, spacious and comfortable, the food is tasty, location is close to shopping, restaurants and major road but still stocked away enough to feel peaceful, the management is friendly, and responsive. Overall Country Gardens Duluth is a place provide good experiences to everyone no matter who you are.
Country Gardens Duluth is a great Community where the residents are loved and cared for. One of the best things about the community is how active the residents are and how well staff tends to their needs. The Life Enrichment programs here are designed to stimulate and engage residents on a daily basis. Always giving residents something to look forward to during their day. The food is prepared on site with a home cooked style. Staff is available and willing to help when it is needed. Overall, it is a warm community with a family style atmosphere. I would also recommend going on their Facebook…

I always enjoy visiting my friends there, the staff is great and very friendly. Theres shopping nearby, and a beautiful park in walking distance.Duluth itself is a lovely area.
I have had a wonderful experience here, everyone is very nice and welcoming. Good food, clean, and everyone is always really helpful with any family members.
I love this community! I stop by every time I am in the Duluth area. When my aunt is ready and needs more care than what I can provide I will choose to place her here. The food is home cooked, the management cares about all the residents, and activities are nonstop. Keep up the good work Country Gardens of Duluth!! 10 million stars!
I strongly advise against living or working at Country Garden. The place is extremely dirty and poorly managed. During my few months of employment, I witnessed numerous issues that were consistently ignored by the owners. The management, particularly ED, was unprofessional and created a toxic work environment. Several employees, including myself, were forced to quit or were fired after disagreeing with ED. Despite weekly meetings with the owners to discuss these problems, nothing was ever done. The living conditions at Country Garden are hazardous. Residents would often leave in the middle of the night without anyone noticing because the doors were not secure. The air conditioning didn't work during the hot summer months, and the plumbing was so bad that sewage would back up into the building. These issues were never properly addressed, with repair estimates exceeding $10,000. The building was also infested with bed bugs and roaches, which spread throughout the entire building. Instead of hiring a pest control service, the owners provided bug spray and asked me to handle the problem, which made me sick twice. During my short time there, over 30 employees were hired and fired due to poor management. The landscaping was also neglected, with overgrown bushes and snakes in the back of the building. I personally had to cut back limbs and bushes, and even found a snake inside an air conditioning unit. The electrical system is also a safety concern, with leaks through the lights during rain. Residents' rooms were often in disrepair, with flies, roaches, and bed bugs present. The owners would ask me to spray the rooms instead of hiring a pest control service. I took over 500 photos documenting the deplorable conditions and have saved residents over $40,000. Despite this, the owners still don't care. Any positive reviews you see are likely from previous owners or relatives of the current owners. The pictures you see online are also from the previous owners. I would not recommend Country Garden to anyone. The owners still owe me $1,500 and have blocked my phone number.
Staff turnover is a problem. The maintenance position has gone unfilled for over two months. Also, medication management is either outsourced for an additional fee or handled internally. Internal management needlessly delays distribution. But things seem to be working okay recently after I (family member) inquired. Advantage of Country Gardens is it's near shopping (weekly trips) and doctors. Other assisted living facilities are at much greater distances.
