We have found Charter to be a very caring community. Under new leadership we have witnessed several areas of improvement. I see staff at all levels pitching in at events, and new staff joining their team to increase support. After moving her twice from other communites, we finally have some peace of mind.
My family member has recently moved into Charter Senior Living and I just can't say enough about the kindness and caring of the entire staff and specifically Cedric Bowler, Maryam Mullen, Eugenia and Dave. They've made this transition as easy as it can be, showing so much care and concern and truly providing a helping hand and guidance through the process.
Charter Senior Living is doing a very solid job of taking care of my loved ones. We came from a different facility and charter is so very much better and I have to attribute it to the executive staff leadership. Their hearts are in it and when there are issues, we always have the opportunity to share, express our needs, and they listen and implement and execute changes. It is a difficult decision to have a loved one placed in a facility, but I have to say I would rather have them here at charter where we feel like a family than anywhere else. I trust them and they help make the transition…

One of the most pleasant experiences at Charter Senior Living @Vinings is the relationship between resident and Caregiver or Med Tech. I would like to give a shout out to the following staff: Chalame Brown (“Mimi”) Med Tech Jacqueline Brooks (“Jackie”) Med Tech Ittila Avent (“Ms. “T)”, Caregiver All three of these employees have exhibited outstanding professionalism while performing their duties.. Each one is pleasant and will go beyond the requirements of her job in order to make me ,the resident feel safe and cared for. I am sure that I speak for all residents who benefit from the efforts of these three employees. Thank you to Charter Senior Living for selecting such excellent people to assist the residents here at CSL.
I moved my mother to Charter in early 2024. She has complex care needs and requires the highest level of support, which many assisted living communities cannot accommodate. Charter was able to provide the level of care she needs while still offering a warm, community atmosphere that you don’t typically find in nursing homes. We’ve experienced a few nursing homes and assisted living facilities since 2017, and Charter is by far the most consistent and caring place my mom has lived. The staff truly feels like family. Special thanks to Mrs. T, Bernice, Quinn, Martae, Britney, Bri, Gigi, Courtney, Kellie, and the entire front desk team—they go above and beyond every day to make my mom feel loved and cared for. No place is perfect, but Charter is always responsive and quick to address any concerns. I highly recommend Charter Senior Living of Vinings. It’s a special place, with caring people and modern, updated surroundings.
All staff (management, admin clinical care(aides/CNAs med techs there's also an onsite physician and dentist and med techs) and kitchen (servers and meal prep) Onsite PT/OT is provided by Legacy There's also many activities to keep residents physically(corn hole and seated volleyball)and mentally active(family feud, and art class)they also do special events to celebrate holidays from Mardi gras to Valentine's Day and Easter and even Elvis's birthday
Our family is very grateful for the compassion and professionalism shown by the staff at Charter Senior Living of Vinings. When our family member arrived from the rehabilitation facility, the entire team was present to welcome him. Unfortunately, the nursing staff quickly recognized that he needed immediate hospice care and recommended that he be taken to the hospital. Their honesty and concern for his well-being meant a great deal to our family. Cedric Bowler, Maryam Mullen and Kellie Harper played instrumental parts in the transition from rehabilitation to the senior living facility. Even though our family member was only there briefly, the staff treated us with kindness, empathy, and respect. We truly appreciate the integrity and compassion they showed our family.
I was visiting to determine if a relative would like to live there and could be accommodated. Every person I met was friendly and enthusiastic. Really liked the location, the layout and the flexibility of offerings.
