The staff was awesome. The only thing we didn't like was the food not very good and small portions.
My mom will move into Carriage Crossing Mt. Zion. It was very pleasant. The people were very informative. It was clean, and everything was up to standards. The size of the room was good. The upkeep is very good. The dining area was very clean and sanitized, and it was up to par.
The facility is kept reasonably clean. The staff are always very patient and attentive to my mom's needs. Whenever I have a question or concern it is addressed and resolved immediately
The room is fine. And the facility is clean and taken care of. The memory care needs more staff. One person is not enough to care for those residents. So often, the residents are bored, sit in a chair all day, little to no activities. The large amount we pay for our loved one, we should have the better more personable and friendly care. The Assisted Living part is good. But Memory care for sure needs some help. Not all of the residents are mobile on their own, so there should at the very least be two people working this wing at all times. Thank You.
My mom will move into Carriage Crossing Mt. Zion. What I liked best was that the companion suites were two separate rooms and the place was very clean. The staff was very friendly and informative. They knew all the questions that I was trying to ask. The rooms and layout were excellent because the fact that they had their own separate rooms, a little shared area, and a huge bathroom was a plus.
My father is in Carriage Crossing Mt. Zion. It is a very good place. I've had meals with my dad a few times and the food was very good. The rooms are not like nursing home rooms. It's like a tiny apartment with two bedrooms. Eventually, he'll have a roommate and they come unfurnished, so you have to supply your own furnishings. Laundry is done once a week and housekeeping twice a week. They have three meals a day, and twice a week they get showers. Whatever amount of care they need, they're given, and they have a memory department as well. The whole facility is very clean. There's a calendar on the wall that lists all the different activities they have every day of the week. It's a wide variety of things that could appeal to anyone. They're friendly and they seem to genuinely care. It's worth it.
The experience was amazing. The staff loving, caring, supportive, and family oriented. The residents and staff became family, the community was full of joy and happiness. My mom enjoyed her stay, still independent and having her own space was spectacular. I will tell the world how great Carriage Crossing of Mt. Zion was to my mother.
Mom loves it there! She enjoys the many activities and trips to the mall. She still has her “independence”, but she has a team that keeps her on track with her meds or anything else she may need! We appreciate the fact that they have a physician to visit the facilities as opposed to the families having to take time off. There are many conveniences that help alleviate a lot of stress. The staff is remarkable! Thank you for being so amazing and supportive.
