We cannot say enough wonderful things about the team at Arbor Terrace Hamilton Mill! ❤️ From the very beginning, Whitney and LaTange on the Sales Team have been absolutely amazing. They have been helpful, kind, engaging, patient, and genuinely invested in helping our mother make the transition to independent living. They have made what could have been a difficult adjustment feel so much easier for our entire family. Most importantly, it is clear that they sincerely care about the people who live there—not just the business of getting someone moved in. Our mother loves it there, and that means…
Our mother loves it there, and that means everything to us. We also want to give a very special thank-you to Sodiah, the Dining Manager, and her entire team. The dining experience at Arbor Terrace Hamilton Mill is truly exceptional. The atmosphere is beautiful, the food is consistently wonderful, and the staff provides a level of service that honestly rivals—and in many cases exceeds—what you would experience at a very nice restaurant. But what stands out most is the people. The kindness, attentiveness, warmth, and genuine interest they show our mother have made such a difference in helping her feel comfortable, connected, and at home. Choosing a senior living community for someone you love is a huge decision, and there are so many things families worry about. We feel incredibly grateful that our mother is at Arbor Terrace Hamilton Mill and surrounded by people who treat her with such care and respect. Whitney, LaTange, Sodiah, and the entire Arbor Terrace team—thank you for everything you do. You have made this transition so much more positive than we ever could have hoped, and we are truly grateful. 💜 If you are considering Arbor Terrace Hamilton Mill for someone you love, we highly recommend them. Our experience has been nothing short of wonderful.
Had a wonderful afternoon today at Arbor Terrace in Hamilton Mill. We were there to honor one of their residents who is a World War II and Korean War Veteran. Becky, Wagner Arbor Terrace‘s lifestyle Director and her staff coordinated this heartwarming event in the comforting Bistro lounge area. It’s truly amazing to see how much Arbor Terrace does for their residence and veterans. What a beautiful location with such a caring staff. Thank you Becky, for your kindness and hospitality.. Ms Grant and Ms Valerie where very welcoming and helpful. Honestly, probably the best Assisted Living facility in Gwinnett County. It's also priced the highest but you get what you pay for.
I am extremely disappointed with the care my mother received at Arbor Terrace. She was there for only five days, and during that time emergency services were called twice without first contacting her family. From the beginning, we made it clear that we wanted ongoing communication with the memory care staff, but communication only occurred after emergencies had already happened. During my mother's entire stay, the Memory Care Director, Abby, was never present in the building. When concerns were raised, responsibility was placed on my mother, who suffers from dementia, rather than addressing the facility's approach to her care. If she refused medication, staff simply did not administer it and did not appear to explore alternative methods or solutions. Our experience left us feeling that this facility prioritizes business operations over individualized care. If a resident does not easily adapt to Arbor Terrace's methods, it seems they may not receive the support needed to succeed there. If this facility really care for their residents they would call me, instead of sending an automated review reply. They are a business that do not care about their residents. I am writing this review to warn other people that might potentially be looking at this company to take care of their loved one. At the end of the day they do not care they just want your money. They care about the money. After paying approximately $7,000 for a five-day stay, we felt the facility was unwilling to work collaboratively with our family. Following my mother's final trip to the emergency room, Arbor Terrace refused to allow her to return. By that point, based on our experience, we no longer wanted her to return either.
Becky Wagner always stays positive and organized. We have fun and feel safe when we go on outings like this picnic at lake Lanier!
Arbor Terrace has made a truly deep and meaningful impact on our family during a very emotional transition for my mother. From the very beginning, we felt welcomed, supported, and genuinely cared for. Tange and Lo were absolutely wonderful during the move in process. Moving a loved one into assisted living is never easy, but they brought kindness, patience and compassion that immediately helped put our minds at ease. They made what could have been an overwhelming experience feel manageable and caring. Valerie at the front desk is always warm, welcoming and incredibly helpful. She is one of those special people who sets the tone the moment you walk through the doors, and her positive attitude means so much to residents and families. Crissie in Physical Therapy has been nothing short of incredible. She has helped my mother tremendously, not only physically, but emotionally as well. The encouragement, professionalism, and genuine care she shows have made a real difference in my mom’s quality of life. One of the most touching things has been the weekly library visits. My mother had to leave behind many of her beloved books when she moved, and being able to reconnect with reading again has brought her so much comfort and joy. It may seem like a small thing to some, but to our family it has meant a great deal. Hany also does such a wonderful job with my mother’s hair. Those personal touches matter so much and help residents maintain dignity, confidence, and a sense of normalcy. The patient care staff throughout the facility have consistently been kind, patient and helpful. You can tell they truly care about the residents they serve. Lastly, the facility itself is beautiful, clean and very well maintained. It feels warm and inviting rather than institutional, and that has made a tremendous difference for our family. We are deeply grateful for the care, compassion and connection we have experienced at Arbor Terrace. It has truly become more than just a facility to us, it feels like a caring community.
We considered a dozen different assisted living facilities for my father. Arbor Terrace Hamilton Mill was at the top of our list based on their facilities, staff, programming, services, location, and the care that they expressed during our interview process. We moved my Dad into Arbor Terrace Hamilton Mill 8 days ago and have been extremely satisfied with everything. The move-in process went well, he is quickly engaging with other members & activities, he likes the food, and staff members have been wonderful & very responsive.
Great place for old people with dementia!! STAFF IS AWESOME!!
